Sprouting

The protrusion of individual tuft or yarn ends above the pile surface after the installation. Usually, the loose fibres may be carefully trimmed with a pair of sharp scissors; however, if the sprouts are large, it is a good idea to call in a professional carpet cleaner, retailer, or installer to resolve the problem.
